Emory's First Birthday

On Sunday September 23rd, we celebrated Emory's First Birthday with a brunch... It was a busy morning preparing for the event, but what a wonderful day we had. Emory delicately poked at her personal cake after sharing with the other kids that were surrounding her. She was a in love with the first gift she opened and not much interested in anything else after that!

Wheeee!

Emory's latest love is Chloe's old mini deck swing...I was just about to toss it when Emory climbed right up and wouldn't get off until we pushed her for what seemed like an hour! Now it's in constant use.

Beachy

The Reed's are on vacation in Bethany Beach. We took the RV to Aunt Barbs house.... it's beautify and peaceful here. Emory's 1st beach trip and Chloe's 6th birthday!!! I would love to post a video of Emory eating sand but I'm not sure how to do that!!! Perhaps Jon can play with you tube and I can let you know how to view it. For now here are some pics...

Mother Daughter Tea

Yesterday we attended the Mother Daughter Tea sponsored by our school. It was an event comparable to the Oscars. Here's the breakdown on our stunning fashions. Chloe wore a white gown with diamond accents by Versace, accessorized with high heels and pink toes. Emory wore an original pink on pink Vera Wang and Kate Spade made her hat especially for the event. Doesn't she look like a doll? It was a well attended event. Look for highlights on t.v. tonight!

The Jumper

I'm not sure why our kids were blessed with the jumping bean gene? Here's our latest jumper... in full swing...yes when you jump high and fast the thing has a sorta swing to it. Wish I could post video to get the full effect of this pic. Oh well, you'll have to come see for yourself.

Finally...

The Snow finally starting falling a few minutes ago...coming down steady...enough to start covering the ground. We've already done our snow dance for school tomorrow, Chloe couldn't wait to play!

Happy 2007!

We celebrated this new year at Susan and Lily's. Emory had a few cat naps but at midnight was in good enough spirits to sport her first New Year's Hat....wouldn't Gram be so proud! While Emory has a few years before her head will hold the expensive beverage container, Pap will gladly model its true fit. The kids had a great time making the hats, but we missed pot banging....perhaps next year when it's not rainy and cold. Happy 2007!
